I tried to applied it and went straight into automake hell. First of all the
patch wouldn't work because pkg-config is lacking some paths settings or
something, and then things wouldn't compile because the -fexceptions flag was
lost. Great. And then rosegardensequencer wouldn't link because of that
stupid missing vtable which someone reported a while ago.
I found out what the problem was : the stubs from its interface aren't being
linked in anymore. Now why is this happening I have no idea. It's just
totally pissing me off, and the idea of throwing this whole
automake/conf/makefile piece of shit right in the toilet where it belongs
appears more tempting than ever. If we weren't so close to 1.0 I'd go for it
right away.
The patch isn't the problem here, I reverted it and the problem still there.
It was just triggered by me re-running my gl_configure script, which I hadn't
done in a while.
