I have installed the realtime lsm kernel module so that I can run jackd
in realtime mode as a user. When I start jack I get messages that the
module alsa_pcm has xruns. Now being novice jack user I am not sure if
these are bad. If they are how do I remove them? For example:

**** alsa_pcm: xrun of at least 0.275 msecs

When I run jack I also find that I get a very high pitched frequency
sound coming from the computer. If I use qjackctl to start it I can hear
the sound and will not hear the sound when I turn off jack.

My quest is to minimize the noise I get from the computer and eliminate
any inefficiencies in the setup so that my system can work the best for
playing back a composition I did.
