Oddly enough, it was bugging me when that user posted with the suggestion that
meshed perfectly with what I had been considering independently. I ran into
a situation where RG was running, but not even doing anything, and it kept
poppng up this dialog to remind me that I was getting buffer underruns
because I was compiling software or something. It annoyed the piss out of
me.

Yet, I haven't rebuilt since then, and I've been getting absolutely staggering
xruns lately. I'm up to 3207 (9987) so far. No idea *why*. Rosegarden has
been running, and I haven't seen the little annoying dialog even one time.

So I'm really not sure what's up. I should probably just go do this anyway
though. The main thing I want to do is make it more informative for newbies,
since that seems to be who it's aimed at. "The JACK audio server is losing
sample frames" is a pretty worthless message in of itself.

Although I'm not quite sure what it *should* say, come to think of it.

I feel crappy and uninspired today, and I think I'll just let it go after all.
I'll do something about it later, after the release. Let's just get it done
already.

That starts to feel like effort, doesn't it?
