Julie,

I am not really worried about the sound for myself as I suspected that
it was my cheap setup.

My real worry is the overlapping event bars in the picture for the
volume. Is that supposed to happen? The sound issue is my problem if
you like because I can't hear if there is a difference when I change
the picture, I can't tell if the picture is reflecting the real sound of
the music. And so I don't know if that is reflecting the real events in
the music.

I want to write some documentation on how to use these event rulers
(along with the new velocity property ruler) and so began playing
around with them to see how they work.

Which reminds me, Hendrick if you are reading this, could the velocity
property ruler be included in the event ruler menu? It seems to me that
if it is in the same place in the notation and matrix windows it seems
it should be in the same place in the menus. What do you think?
