Are you planning to bring it into trunk/ this time?  It's probably high time 
you did that, so you don't wind up with another fork so obsolete you have to 
extract DNA from amber to breed new dinosaurs to make it work again.

I'm not sure how we'd contend with conditional builds or keeping this out of 
the way of normal humans who have no idea what it's for (including me, I'm 
afraid) but we can probably think of something.
