It still works. I just didn't know when this feature appeared. I want to do two things: 1. I want to make default duration be set when the notation window is first open. Currenty this is fixed to a quarter note. I'd like to implement the code that exists to set it the value of the time signature denominator if possible. 2. Currently, the behavior of setting the duration to the time signature occurs when we exit note / rest mode then reenter note mode via a keystroke shortcut. I would like to discuss the merits of this in favor of restore the last known duration upon exiting either of these modes. I think the later is a more intelligence method, but I may be missing something here. Our current behavior in this regard is much better than in classic which will not allow alphabet letters to be used without entering an duration shortcut or selecting a duration first. I hope that makes sense. Sincerely, Julie S. --- On Tue, 8/25/09, D. Michael McIntyre <[email protected]> wrote: > From: D.
