You got it

And the branch now does have toolbar actions to enter note / rest mode 
directly.  I didn't check  he shortcuts yet 'T' and 'Shift + T' currently since 
'T' was an open key.

But, I'll worry about the implementation.  I got a good idea of how to do it 
easily.

But I'm too tired.
