The notation_toolbar_2 branch has come along well. I hope to merge in a couple
days--after we get feedback and agreement.
You wrote concerning the port of the Hotkeys from openOctave:

After the pending merge of notation_toolbar_2, this could have a green light in
a branch. But my time will be up and I will not be able to do the lifting.
As you said, this can wait until after Thorn, but nobody is saying it must.
Really the ideas is just lacking a bit of "RG touchy-feely-warm
fussy-discussion" and some one to code the port.
So, if you want it to happen before Thorn is released, that is all it will take.
