Right. I forgot all about .xsession-errors, as I always run from the
console. There is a big burst of debug messages while carrying out any
of the actions we've been discussing, and that's where they go when they
aren't scrolling up the screen.
Ted is aware of the problem, and plans to address this before the next
release.
