I agree you would want to use the Cygwin additions. I was just
wondering if you could compile it with a flag that excluded them
which would then lead to the possibility of sharing the makefile
with linux. This is probably too complicated though.

OK, I have downloaded DevC++ and MingW and got it to build. Is there
an equivalent of makefile or something that should be checked in for
this environment? Or a general makefile for building with MingW.
