However, I don't have that, I have the CD upgrade version which is a 4M not 6M rom. I asked Paul Middleton what he would charge me for the approved 6M version and he said that the CD upgrade version would also work. > Also, when I first tried setting up RPCEmu I found that it was vital to > have a 'clean' version of the ROM images. I've certainly done my best to get an unpatched version. The green screen menu I get is coming from 4.39 so the rom is working to some extent. > What processor have you chosen? But I have no !Boot on the hd4. How on earth do I get it there? It could be that I'm really stupid but the manual to me has nothing to say on this. > There is a self-extracting program for getting them out of a zip. So assuming I have !boot zipped and in the hosts directory do I copy it using *copy to the HD4? How do I then unpack it? *copy hostsfs::????.$.packed-file adfs::HD4.$.packed-file Seems I don't have enough information even to work out how to use *copy. I suppose this is where the self extracting bit come in, but if someone tells me where thing is I hope it has some instructions. I must be missing some reading somewhere as these very basic essential points don't appear to be answered in any of the things I've read. > One general point.
