I copied the boot sequence into hostfs. I copied the 5.19 rom image
into roms. My 4.39 rom image was still there, but assumed it was still
needed, as when I tried without it I get an error message that gives
me no options whatsoever...'exit'!
Tom has already pointed out that there should be only one rom image
present. I've no idea about the error message. Is something wrong with
the rom image?
Yes, I initially only used the 5.19 rom image, but as I said that really
failed.

No, I hadn't realised that was needed.

This seems to confirm that your boot sequence needs to be changed from
RO4, to RO5 (available from ROOL).
Yes. I will get that installed and then it will probably be OK.
