Hi !
I am trying to make FireMV 2400 PCIe to work on fedora 10. It is
supposed to work with 4 monitors. I see on AMD web site that 8.583
driver has listed this card as supported. However, this driver version
does not appear in rpmfusion repository, or I could not match it with
the versions available.
I downloaded the file from AMD. If I run command
./ati-driver-installer-8.583-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Fedora/F10
it starts OK - extracting, check MD sums and then says building package.
CPU load goes to around 100% with bash process eating all of it and it
sits like this forever. Looks like there is a bug in the build process.
I can extract the file in the new directory, but not sure what to do
with it. This might be the wrong place to ask for help on that, but I
just thought that building rpms for rpmfusion required solving similar
issues.
Thanks,
Leon
