Yes, it does appear something strange is going on with the packages
build for the Adiscon PPA.

In the standard Ubunutu packages, the /usr/lib/rsyslog/lmnsd_gtls.so
file found in the rsyslog-gnutls package but not the rsyslog package, as
can be seen from e.g. (for a v7.4.4 package):

  http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/amd64/rsyslog-gnutls/filelist
  http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/amd64/rsyslog/filelist

... and similarly only the rsyslog-gnutls package has a dependency on
libgnutls26:
  http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/rsyslog-gnutls
  http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/rsyslog

However, in the Adiscon PPA (
  https://launchpad.net/~adiscon/+archive/ubuntu/v7-stable
), it seems that the lmnsd_gtls.so file is included in both "rsyslog"
and "rsyslog-gnutls"... and the "rsyslog" package also has a dependency
on the libgnutls26.

I don't know the history of the PPA package build, but off hand I'd
guess that lmnsd_gtls.so line got included in the rsyslog.install by
mistake somehow...
