I Agree with Peter here, even though i think choice is good.
I am wondering isn't it getting time to take the best parts of both
NMT and RTAI and move them into the official kernel source tree.
That way there will be one official kernel again with RT support.
Even if it is only a small common part of NMT and RTAI. It will also put
down a foundation for ppl that want to port it to Alpha, Sparc or PPC.
I have the feeling that as long as it is a separate kernel patch it will
not be taken seriously by lots of ppl.
