I have set up RT Linux with Labview several months ago, and my friends are
using it successfully since then (GPIB to LeCroy scope, serial port, RT
periodic task is used as a trigger generator (paralel port, 1us jitter)).
Parameters of trigger sequence are set via shared memory (Tcl/Tk interface).

This is RH 5.2,
Linux version 2.0.38.RTL1.2 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version
2.7.2.3) #1 Wed Aug 18 18:53:50 CEST 1999

uptimes of one month standard, sometimes problems with X (seems like keyboard
controller has problems, also mouse is "advanced").

There was one problem: nigpib-0.4 was hanging the machine. nigpib-0.3 was
working. I believe it is running now nigpib-0.2 beta (probably installed with
Labview). I have not tried newer versions yet.

Best regards,

P.S. Labview would be more useful if it would be able generate C code of
aplications drawn. It could also place some threads in RT kernel.
