Well, I'm not more familiar with Rails. I've been using PHP for over eight years now and I'm still learning Rails. However, when he asked me whether I could do "something" in PHP, I stated that I preferred using Rails. When it got clear what needed to be done, I wasn't so sure what I would need, which is why I started this topic.
