Thought I let you know that I received my 1:64 Modeling Guide
yesterday (31 days after posting).
Believe Washington & his troops marched from New York to Yorktown VA
faster than Magazine delivered by U.S. Postal Service.
Guess I could try 1st Class postage, it's an extra $11.50/yr. but I'm
frugal (cheap).
Nice job though by Richard & Debbie Bendever (editor/publisher).

2005 wasn't a good year for me & U.S. Postal Service.
Early on in March they shredded a large Money Order for a "S" brass
loco I purchased from a dealer. Fortunately there was enough left
that I was able to get another re-issued by my Post Office, but then
I had to to pay for express mail since the dealer's client was
complaining.

In September, I sent another large money order for another "S" brass
loco I won on e-bay. This time it was just lost. I'm sure the
seller thought I was a deadbeat. Luckily I had copy of receipt &
stub.

HOWEVER, THE POST OFFICE MAKES YOU WAIT FOR 30 DAYS BEFORE IT WILL
EVEN ACCEPT A MONEY ORDER "INQUIRY" AND 60 DAYS BEFORE IT WILL EITHER
SEND YOU A CHECK, OR PROOF OF CASHING WITH SIGNATURE. It
wasn't until November that I got my money back from Post Office.

Then later in October, sent back a brass part I purchased which
wasn't exactly as advertised. You guessed it. Lost. And therefore
no refund/credit. Could of sent it issured, but value was only $15.

Needless to say, I'm not a fan of U.S. Postal Service. However, all
the Junk Mail seems to make to my house just fine.

Thank goodness the Holdays were enjoyable, and I can now look back
and almost laugh at last year's transgressions.

Wishing all of you a happy & healthy New Year.
