Hi Greg, I hope he's shrewd enough to recognize the possibilities!
Detail level equal to MTH premier line of 3 rail or equal to the
common HO stuff available now days would be fine for S equipment,
we're a hungry bunch so won't be too picky. One would think that given
the size Of MTH and the number of stuff they produce that there would
be room in their budget for one S scale car to test the waters? Even
if it turned out to be a vanity project he'd at least be able to claim
some S scale territory.
If not MTH how about Weaver? They are a marginal player in the O
scale scene but could become a big dog if they moved to S scale.
Weaver has the best balance of price to quality in the industry so
they might be the number one choice?
Actually if each of the major O scale manufactures built one S
scale car we'd have 5 new products to choose from! ..........dave
