Gene, We use a 24 inch high backdrop on our portable layout with a track height of 44 inches. Works well for us. I would think that if you could make at least part of it ceiling high and painted sky color with a few clouds it would look great. Then you can make the hills or whatever you are going to use any size that looks good to you.
