Thanks guys, I got a bit worried about the 24-inch limitation as I saw some
adds that referred to 24-inches as being best for HO and 36-inches for O. I can
understand the difference in proportion, but then again smaller images/details
on a backdrop add distance as well.
In my case it will indeed be an around the wall type of railroad. 24-inches
of space between the top of the bench work and the ceiling does not allow for
very high three dimensional scenery, but I will do the best I can to convey
some differences in geology.
