Getting a digital camera is great suggestion, but you only got half 
the picture.  <VBG>  If you really want good digital pictures, you 
should consider using imaging software as well such as Photoshop 
Elements (the cheaper version works just fine for model RR 
photography) and Helicon Focus.

Some would say the ability to use such software to manipulate 
digital photos is more important than the quality of the camera.  I 
have seen spectacular results produced by this software with pics 
taken on a cheapo digital point & shoot.
