Does anyone know where I can find plans for Rio Grande's C-48 2-8-0's?
I was wondering how well the S Helper 2-8-0 mechanism would work in
converting the locomotive to the Rio Grande prototype. Anyone else
considering such a venture? It appears that the Rio Grande boiler
diameter is larger and rides lower on the frame than that on the S
Helper engine, but without plans I'm in the dark.
