Jim..."S"peaking on the basis of several local fellows who have
installed two decoders and also various installation professionals
who have confirmed. Not to mention the logic of effectively
disconnecting the feedback from motor control to sound control by use
of two different decoders. No, I have not done this myself since I
do not care for the two-decoder approach, but I believe it to be true
based on good authority. These comments were made with respect to
the steam Tsunami and I have no idea if they might apply to diesel as
well. Call me ignorant of the diesel Tsunami. Your situation is
different because you are not using the Tsunami and so there might be
some different factors at work there. Does the LokSound have
feedback from the motor control circuitry to the sound output? If
not, there would be no change in apparent sound functionality. This
feedback ability is what makes the Tsunami really neat. Cheers...Ed
L.
