Hi Robyn:
I got a Don Winter kit a few years ago. The ends and bolsters are too wide
but they and the diagrams in the kit can help you scatchbuild a modern end.
The Trainstuff kits are much better. I'm in the process of building one and
would like to find some more. I probably have extra copies of the
instructions sheets from Winter and Trainstuff or could make photocopies if
you want to try scratchbulding. I've done several Fairly straightforward.
