Bob, I went to a train show in Cleveland over the weekend and picked up a RS 1
kit of Loco Work Shops brass . My question to you is what did you use for a
drive?
Thanks Bert Cutler

Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: FNF - 10/02/10 - Cont.
In addition to the locomotive assignments listed on 10/01/10, GP9 #42
remains sidelined for driveline inspection and repairs.
On 10/02/10, Time Freight #252 ran from Terminal District to Mooar Yard with
RS-3 #37 in the locomotive consist with FA-2/FB-2 #'s 50B & 52A. RS-1 #33 made
up the outbound train and remained on it for pickup and transport to Terminal
District on #251.
After yarding the inbound train, #252's power proceeded to the engine house and
cut off #37, then turned on the wye. In the meantime, the yard crew grabbed #37
and ran around #252's caboose and tacked it on the East end of outbound # 242.
Then the FA/FB set backed onto #33 on the outbound train, where the road crew
MU'ed it into the locomotive consist. After a proper air test, #241 departed.
Meanwhile, at Terminal District, RS-2 #34 grabbed a caboose from the caboose
track and began making up the next day's #252. As #241 approached Terminal
District, #34 cleared up for it on the South Main Runaround. #241 brought its
train down the Pocket Track, cut off and took the engines to the Outbound
Engine Track. The yard engine then broke up the train into the North Storage
Yard.
At that time, Hours of Service caught up with the crews (I got tired and went
to bed), shutting down the RR. Also, the passenger trains had run on schedule.
