In some past instruction sheet issued by PBL for one of their depot
kits, they recommend using some sort of powder (baking soda, baking
powder--probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference) and put in the
drop of super glue. I tried it and was able to smooth file the hole in
a few minutes and it was super hard. They actually included a tiny
package of the powder.
