I do not know the motivation behnd the creation of Grandt Lines AB brake set,
but I do know that a deposit for an S Scale reefer was paid to Grandt Line and
I believe PRS briefly advertised an S Scale reefer. Grandt refunded the
deposit when agreement on the reefer could not be reached. It was during this
time that Front Range began tooling the 50' boxcar for PRS. When Front Range
could not finish the car was when Intermountain was formed as a new company.
Intermountains first complete project of their own was their 40' AAR boxcar.

Ironically, it ultimately took 4 mold makers to complete the PRS S Scale
reefer.....Intermountain, A&W Miniatures, Joel Berling, and Model America.
