Bill,

Chattonooga is a great place to rail fan, plus the home of the NMRA Museum, the
Tennesse, Valley railway museum, An S scale layout that is second to none done
by Jerry Holmes. he has done the entire Allegheny Subdivision from Clifton
Forge to Charlston C&O off course. There is also the layout at the Chattnooga
Choo Choo Hotel where you can sleep in Pullmans if you wish.

Thanks Bert

Since I am not going to the left coast in a few days my thoughts turned to

next year's convention. We have never been anywhere near Tennessee. It does

sound interesting. Donna has not been on a convention like trip since

getting Pickles http://www.lanestrains.com/Pickles.htm 2 years ago. Is the

convention hotel dog friendly, or are there any VERY close to it? It could

be a new experience for all on a wandering trip to the convention and poke

around afterwards.

Thank You,

Bill Lane
