Dave,

I found out from someone on the list how not to do it. I had inquired about
purchasing a shell for the S-12 from AM and the powered frame from S-Helper.
Someone more knowledgeable than I informed me that such an approach will not
work. The reason it will not work I have long since forgotten. I thought that
would be an easy fix, apparently a little too easy.

Tom

Has anyone tried installing the prototypically correct Type A switcher trucks
on a American Models Baldwin switcher? Did it make a motor change necessary?
How did you do it; any photos? DJE
