Dave, you've hit on the on thing that does bother me about the U33C: the drive. 
 So far the drive has been shrouded in mystery.  If it's a horizontal drive, 
the U33C's got a chance. 

If it's twin vertical motors, then better get out the fire extingushers because 
the flaming will make the current discussion seem like a candle in the wind.  I 
would also likely have to shift my position from the scale perspective to the 
negative.

I dunno, if an HO company tried to enter into S Scale, some folks here would 
likely complain about taking business away from AM, SHS and SSA.
