Good morning!

      We tested a boxcar on Larry Morton's fine layout in HENDERSONVILLE, NC/  
They were hauled around in a freight consist without any problems on TOMALCO 
track and turnouts.  They really look nice on a contest model and run well too.

Don't worry about code 88 or NMRA RP-25 just ask for P64 wheels and ask them to 
use the prototype profile that O P-48 and HO P-87 use (re-scaled for 1:64 scale 
of course). I don't have any to measure but it looks like Proto wheels for S 
scale should be code 87 based on HO and O proto dimensions? As long as you are 
buying new wheels anyway if you get true proto flanged  wheels you can then use 
true scale sized frogs and point spacing and tighten up everything, it's a lot 
easier to build proto track than track for larger flanges ...DaveBranum
