I called my youngest son who bought a house 2 weeks ago about 3 miles from
the ocean in Brick, NJ. He lost a tree but is doing OK, but no power. They
have gas so I guess they can cook and with his gas fireplace keep warm. They
do not expect the power to be turned on for a week. I have no idea about our
house, Robin was more worried about the sailboat we have now owned for a week
docked in MD. We are told that is fine. Just talked to Mike on the warehouse
which is less than 2 miles from Raritan Bay, which got the highest storm surge
in NJ. No problems there, but not power either. 2.2 million households are
dark in NJ.... another sunny day in Japan with high in the 60's...Don
