We do not have any major damage here, but some of my neighbors have not been so
lucky. Wind was the major problem. Many trees and wires down. Cleaned up
neighbor's shingles in my yard. Widespread power outages.
It looks like our power source will be our generator for some time. No
commercial power, no cable so no internet, no phone and cell phone service is
sporadic at best. (I hope this will make it sometime. ) Traffic signals that
work are the exception. I heard that in Jamie's school district, 16 of 22
schools don't have power.
The generator lets me work in the basement, so things could be a lot worse!
