Same here in Lock Haven, Clinton County PA.  The storm wrapped around our little valley and got those to the north, south, east, and west.  Like having a dome over us.  We had 3 2 second power outages and a fair amount of rain.

If not for the TV and Internet would have never known there was a storm, let alone such a monster.

I'm wondering how our "own" are doing, those in the path of the storm.  Here in Lancaster Co, PA, we dodged the worst of it, wind & water damage, power outages,  here and there, NOTHING like we are seeing in Jersey & New York.  I've tried to reach some of my "Parking Crew" crew buddies, unsuccessful so far.  Maybe guys could let us know their status.

Don, Don,

I had replied to Mr. Dewitt, because he was offering the engine and I knew SHS Don was away.  Anyway I hope both Dons and both locations are doing okay.  Come to think of it, my 2-8-0 is in the in SHS hospital, so hope it's not floating away someplace either.

Dear Bob,
I suspect different Don.  I am in Japan with Ben's family.  As you are aware, we are liquidating inventory.  We sold out of all rolling stock and motive power with only some track and parts left.  Due to Sandy, no one is at the warehouse (read Jeff Wilson...) and we do not expect him back until next week as he lives on a creek that turns into a rather large river when the humidity gets over 100%.  But, thank you for your concerns.  We are a bit more worried over the sailboat that Robin and I purchased a week ago in MD.  It is still in the water and we are half a world away...
SHS Don, but after Nov 17th, just plain Don again...

Don, I hope you sell that thing in a hurry, otherwise you might have to advertise "one slightly hurricane damaged' Erie steam engine.  From one who bought some of Hoquat's baptized parts!

Good luck keeping things together and for the lights to return quickly.
