If I recall, S weathered a near total lack of wheels many years ago. The more 
things change...

On a brighter note, AM still lists trucks at a pretty reasonable price. That 
will not help with your NE trucks, but if they are just cast side frame trucks 
(AKA "Bettendorf"), they might be a good substitute.
