Speaking of conversions, here is one that has become possible in S with the new
DPH kit.

The model (in HO as it would be in S) is an approximation, The SAL B-6 was an
AAR 1932 design car, but with plate ends and flat roof  like an X29. It should
be taller and have different rivet patterns on the sides, but this version
fills in reasonably well. An X29, PRS 10 IH Youngstown doors, PRS underframe
with AB brakes, some strip styrene and decals would do it. A slightly better
rendition would use the PRS body and sides with the X29 roof and ends. That
would have the correct rivet patterns.

Maybe Ron could put the required parts in a box as a conversion kit?

I'm with you, James. The Fowler will open up a wealth of possible conversions
for Steam Era cars. I can't wait either.
