I see people refer to AF loco's as having the Pull-Mor feature, yet I am a bit confused as to ''what is' Pull-Mor on an engine.
I always thought that this feature applied to the rubber bonded on the wheels to give better traction, but others seem to apply this feature to the motors. My problem with people making reference to the motors being Pull-Mor is that basically the motor design hardly changed at all, so for me it must refer to the wheels. Now we all know that those 'L' people stole this named feature from the Flyer range and applied it to their main 'O' gauge line to describe motors. I'm sure I have seen 'L' describe loco's with can motors and the old style open frame motors as having Pull-Mor which makes it even more confusing. With regards to copyright etc. are 'L' actually using this name when the patent office may actually have it described as something else? Regards, Neil T.
