I bought one of these poor excuses for a train also, & while the paint &
lettering are good , the trucks are as you pointed out not what they said
they would be. also did you or anyone else noticed how loose & xtra high the
trucks on the engs.are? Mine are so loose that the engine rocks & the trucks
will derail easily. All I can say is good bye to Lionel as they have done it
to Me for the last time.

According to their web site, the New York Central diner/coach combo have
shipped.  Has anyone seen them?  And, do they have die cast metal sprung
trucks as advertised (the passenger cars in the set have plastic sided
trucks with no springs).
