NO! NO! NO! Ebay tells you to bid your Max when you bid. If I come in when your bid
is 60 dollars and I bid
100 dollars
with 30 seconds to go then I get it for 62 dollars. But if you had bid 80 dollars as
your max then I get it
for 82 dollars.
On the other hand if the bid is 60 dollars but your max is 120 dollars then my 100
dollars will not touch
yours and you will win. So bid the most you want to pay and if a 30 second bid beats
you then IT IS YOUR FAULT
that you did not win.
Sniping does not limit open and free market and is not illegal. I get most of the
stuff I buy off ebay this
way.
Remember all is fair in love, war and ebay.
Thank you
Larry Jackman
Ps. What about sealed bids on government jobs. This is an auction and you get only one
chance
