Christmas 1952 my parents and grandparents went together to buy me an
AF Hudson set from Macy's in Cleveland. After the holiday the store,
which had a large layout, had a box of engines marked $5 a piece-
display engines. My father bought a Santa Fe PA and 2 PBs, a chrome
Silver Streak and a 332 (DC) which hadn't been used because the store
hadn't sorted out the DC issue. We also used to purchases (370 and
freight cars) from Blum's Hobby House. Many years later while living
in Southern Calif. we got help and items from a hobby shop in Long
Beach and a Train Shop within Knott's Berry Farm.
