Well,...according to Greenberg,....the 1946 #633 Boxcar, had plastic 
frames,...die-cast in '48,...
and some 633's had sheet metal frames as well in '48,....some 633's got the sheet 
metal frames in '49. It appears
the 633 was the first to have sheet metal frames,....I, or the book, could be wrong!
