Pyenv is easier than sage distro, much easier.


I meant *using* pyenv.  I just don't want to be bothered when I really just 
use Sage.  But this is quite orthogonal to the actual discussion, sorry for 
bringing up my 3.9 issues :-)

Well, depending on a legacy (3.9) Python version isn't the problem for the 
most, I hope. :-)


Yes, absolutely not!  I meant just the whole not wanting to deal with 
managing different Python installations.  I don't want to manage different 
versions of LaTeX on my computer either.  One is plenty, thank you very 
much :-)
