Another thing: when I'm not connected to the network, firefox starts in
offline mode. Apparently this is a bug in FF (starting in offline mode
when going to a localhost address). For now, though, there is
apparently an option in the prefs.js file for firefox, something like:
user_pref("browser.offline", false);
This might help.
