Today I came across the mozilla labs project called "Bespin". It's an online code editor (javascript/canvas) and in a very early prototype stage. Currently, it does something with html, js and css only, but I think it has potential. Imagine, logging into an online sage-code-editor right into the browser from everywhere and start hacking a bugfix! I think that's certainly very interesting and lowers the entry level for new developers once more.
