Hi, I am wondering whether anyone is implementing Functional derivative using pynac in Sage?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Functional_derivative While searching through sage-devel list, I found that Tim Lahey had some mention about implementing variational calculus in Sage. Are there any recent update on this? If anyone is working then I will be happy to test them as I am planning to use them for my own work. If not, I will start experimenting for possible implementation in Sage.
