cvs -d :pserver:anonym...@maxima.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/maxima get -r RELEASE-5_19-BRANCH maxima grabs the branch version of the CVS module named maxima (incidentally creating a new directory named maxima in the current working directory). I'm planning to tag Maxima 5.19.0 and create tar.gz and rpms so maybe that obviates the need for CVS. Be advised it's likely there will be a few more 5.19.xx releases.
