I am running Debian Sid. The installation in my office stopped working this in the last 5 days. (I am not sure exactly when.) Versions 10.5 and 10.6 both stopped working. I assume some update broke them.
So, I decided to try to install 10.7 from source, but it fails. (10.5 also did.)
