Could the field "Depends on" be widened in the GUI to show more of the check name?  This also causes us issues when creating checks since we have some check that look identical up to the last few characters.

This is a fairly minor cosmetic point, but caused some staff confusion. Here's the sequence and the confusion it causes.

1. Highlight existing entry called TEST1
2. Press CTRL D to create duplicate
3. New duplicate entry is created called TEST1
4. On new entry, drop down "Depends On" option and two entries called TEST1 are listed - if the new TEST1 check needs to depend on the old TEST1 check - it's confusing as to which one to select.

As you suggest, the way round it is at stage 3, change the Pretty Name and then click update and then edit the entry again. I just thought that if when using CTRL D it automatically appended something to the new Pretty Name, that would ease the workflow.

Best wishes

That reminds me of one annoyance !!!

When doing this, a new entry is created with the same name as the one it is based on. Hence if you are trying to set a dependancy then two entries are listed with the same name.

Is there any way to add something to the name of the new check after using CTRL D to indicate that it is a copy ?

Best wishes

I'm fairly certain this is a common request/feature, but is there an easy way to copy an event or an entry?  I am setting up ping tests for 95 servers and this would be helpful...

Thx.
