The only thing I can think of is that the team is not enabled.
For the test, remove the team name and re-add it (via the add button).

Dirk.
Most of Woodstone's staff is currently on holiday, however support checks
mail a couple of times a day (over a slow link). This does mean that we
are not able to do all "normal" support tasks.
We will be back, in full force, on August 10th 2003.

By the way, if I replace the {team name} tag with an actual email address
of a "person" in that team, it works fine...

Not for the moment no. IF you can send that to me on or after August 10th,
then yes.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Would a screen shot or two help at all?

The alert was trigger, but the mail wasn't send because the TO part was
empty.
So check if:
             * team is enabled
             * members are enabled
             * their schedule/on-call are active

Subject: [SA-list] Alert problem

Hello,

I'm running the latest beta build and am having a problem... Our alerts
are configured to go to a team {team name}... But when the alert is
triggered, nothing happens.. I found this message in my log file:

Thursday, August 07, 2003 1:23:39 PM SONOMA Ping failed due to a
successrate of only 0%
Thursday, August 07, 2003 1:23:47 PM SONOMA Ping failed due to a
successrate of only 0%
Thursday, August 07, 2003 1:24:30 PM SONOMA Ping failed due to a
successrate of only 0%
Thursday, August 07, 2003 1:24:30 PM Didn't send mail (TO part is empty)

I've completely removed and reinstalled ServersAlive to no avail (I even
deleted the entire registry key to start fresh)...

Ideas?

Troy
